We have partnered with 247 Roadservices Australia who offer emergency breakdown assistance and towing services, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout Australia.
How Does It Work And How To Sign Up?
Mounties Care Mobility and Independence will sign you up when you make the purchase of your scooter or wheelchair. There is nothing you need to do, it is all looked after for you. If and when you require roadside assistance please call 247 Roadservices Australia on 1800 008 616.
What Is Covered?
- You will get 4 free calls p/a
- 30km towing radius back to your home
- Reimbursement of up to 3 transport costs at $30 p/a - this could be a taxi, uber or other transport where a charge occurs. If the charge exceeds $30, you will be required to pay the difference.
What Is Not Covered?
- Towing or transporting a partly or fully dismantled aid
- Towing or transporting an aid that has been modified in which it is unsafe to be transported
- Towing or transporting to or from a shipping or holding facility
- Parts, labour or other costs related to the repair of a vehicle
- Transporting of animals or pets
So What Happens Next?
Once your paperwork has been processed, your membership will become active within 7 business days. Once your 12 month membership comes to an end, 247 Roadservices Australia will be in contact with you to discuss your renewal options. Your membership will not automatically renew.
As a bonus, Mounties Care Mobility and Independence will offer you the second year free, on the condition of your scooter/wheelchair will be bought back to us for its annual service before your 12 month membership comes to an end.
